Make-A-WishWhen children are battling a critical illness, so much of normal childhood is taken away from them — it is exhausting, both emotionally and physically. A Wish is something that gives kids the opportunity to look outside their illness — it restores a sense of childhood back to the child and normalcy back to the family. Learn more or get involved at: Rope-For-Hope / Joy Ride / Calendar of WishesPAND supports the Make-A-Wish foundation through fundraising and participation. In the Rope-For-Hope campaign, three of our team rappelled down a 22-story building, raising enough to grant an entire wish. At the Joy Ride, our team collectively rode a bike for 12 hours. During the Calendar of Wishes our team sponsored one door, and gave out cookies outside in freezing temperatures, raising support and awareness for the Make-A-Wish foundation.   |
KidSport EdmontonKidSport is a national not-for-profit organization that provides financial assistance for registration fees and equipment to kids aged 18 and under. Through a confidential application process we provide grants so they can play a season of sport. Learn more or get involved at: http://www.kidsportcanada.ca/alberta/edmonton/ Corporate ChallengeOur team has participated in many years of Corporate Challenge supporting KidSport Edmonton. We have tried our hand at ultimate frisbee, 2k/5k/10k races, poker, bowling, slo-pitch, pool, trivia, volleyball, badminton, and other fun challenges. PAND has won quite a few medals along the way!   |

Crystal KidsCrystal Kids is an integrated community support center focused on building resilience, providing opportunities, and encouraging life-long learning through its partnerships and programs. Learn more or get involved at: Crystal Kids Gala and Chuckwagon RacesSupporting our local Edmonton youth with healthy meals, programs, tutoring, and activities through funding and organizing the annual Chuckwagon Race event, donating IT equipment, and donating to the gala fundraiser.

Leukemia & Lymphoma SocietyEach year, in communities across Canada, teams of families, friends, co-workers and local and national corporations come together to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada’s (LLSC’s) Light The Night Walk events and bring help and hope to people battling blood cancers. Learn more or get involved at: Light the Night WalkWhen you join in the Light the Night Walk you can't help but feel the solidarity of a community supporting those affected by Leukemia & Lymphoma. Walking through the evening with the lanterns held high, surrounded by survivors carrying white, supporters carrying red, and gold lanterns being held in remembrance, is quite moving. It's been a meaningful and worthy experience to be part of for many years.
