Blair has significant experience providing assurance and business advisory services to medium and large sized private companies, some of which are family owned. Blair’s clients include privately owned and private equity-backed organizations operating in the oilfield services, construction, sports and entertainment, retail, manufacturing, tourism, heavy truck and auto dealership industries. Blair also has extensive experience assisting clients in expanding and optimizing their businesses through acquisitions, financing and reorganization transactions. Prior to joining PAND in 1999, Blair articled with the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young where he gained experience auditing large private and publicly-traded corporations, as well as organizations in the public sectors.
Blair was a sitting member of the Board of Directors for the Alberta Lung Association in the position of Treasurer, chairing the Finance Committee and sitting on the Executive Committee. He was a Director of a local not-for-profit organization, which connects senior citizens and junior high students in Sherwood Park. Blair also volunteers his time as a coach for Sherwood Park Minor Hockey and Sherwood Park Minor Lacrosse.
